Hello! That sounds like a fantastic trip. Here are some travel tips for your visit to Tunis, Sfax, and Kairouan in Tunisia.

Best Time to Visit:
The best time to visit Tunisia is during its spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is milder. The pleasant temperatures during these times allow for enjoyable exploration.

Route and Accessibility:
You can fly into Tunis-Carthage International Airport, which has regular direct connections with many major European cities. From Tunis, Sfax is around 270km to the south, easily accessible by bus or train. Kairouan is a further 150km to the south-west, reachable by regular bus services.

Accommodation and Booking:
Each city offers plenty of choices for accommodation ranging from luxury hotels to budget guesthouses. You can use major online platforms like Booking.com, Hotels.com, or Airbnb for reservations. It's recommended to book in advance, especially during peak seasons.

Clothing and Essentials:
Pack lightweight, breathable clothing for the warm weather. Do remember that Tunisia is a Muslim country, so modest clothing is appreciated. Carry sunscreen, hats, sunglasses for protection against sun. Also, packing a good pair of walking shoes is advised as you'll be exploring historical sites.

Health and Safety:
Ensure you're up-to-date with routine vaccinations. Drink only bottled water to avoid any waterborne diseases. Additionally, stay alert in crowded places to avoid pickpockets.

Local Etiquette and Respect:
In Tunisia, it's respectful to dress modestly. Always ask for permission before photographing people. It's also customary to greet with 'As-Salaam-Alaikum' (Peace be upon you). Always use your right hand for eating, greeting, or giving and receiving items, as the left hand is considered unclean.
