Travel Tips

Hello! It's great to hear you're planning a trip to Denpasar, Kuta, and Ubud in Indonesia. Here are some useful travel tips for your journey.

Best Time to Visit:
The best time to visit these three spots in Bali is between April and October, during the dry season when it's generally sunnier.

Route and Accessibility:
The Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International Airport, is the main entry point to the island. From here, it's easy to find reliable transportation options like taxis, shuttle buses, or rent a motorbike to get around Kuta, Denpasar, and Ubud.

Accommodation and Booking:
There's a broad range of accommodations available from luxurious resorts to budget-friendly hostels. It's advisable to book in advance, especially during the high season. Booking platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, and some local websites can be very helpful.

Clothing and Essentials:
Given Bali's tropical climate, light and breathable clothes are recommended. Don't forget your sunscreen, bathing suits, hats, umbrellas, and comfortable shoes for walking. Carrying mosquito repellent can also be helpful.

Health and Safety:
Stay hydrated and protect yourself from the sun. Ubud is located in a rainforest area, so it's important to protect against mosquitoes. Always ensure your food and drinking water are clean, as Bali belly (traveller's diarrhoea) can be common. Avoid unfamiliar areas at late hours and always keep an eye on your belongings.

Local Etiquette and Respect:
Balinese people are known for their friendliness and high regard for their culture. While visiting temples, ensure to wear a sarong and a shoulder-covering scarf, as bare shoulders are seen as disrespectful. When interacting with locals, avoid touching their heads as it’s considered sacred.
