Hello! It's exciting to hear that you're planning to visit Nepal's beautiful cities - Kathmandu, Mustang, and Manang. Here are some valuable travel tips to make your journey enjoyable and smooth.

Best Time to Visit:
The best time to visit Kathmandu is from September to November (autumn season) when the rainfall is low and the weather is mild. For Mustang and Manang, summer months (May to September) are ideal as the temperatures are pleasant, and roads and trekking routes remain open.

Route and Accessibility:
You can first reach Kathmandu by air through Tribhuvan International Airport, the only international airport in Nepal. From Kathmandu, Mustang and Manang can be reached by both road and local flights. For Mustang, you can take a flight to Jomsom followed by a Jeep ride. To reach Manang, you can either trek from Besisahar after a short drive from Kathmandu or take a flight to Humde Airport in Manang.

Accommodation and Booking:
Accommodation options in Kathmandu range from luxury hotels to budget guesthouses. In Mustang and Manang, during trekking routes, traditionally run tea houses and lodges are common. It's advisable to book everything from flights, accommodations to trekking packages well in advance, especially during the peak season.

Clothing and Essentials:
Pack warm clothing for the mountain regions of Mustang and Manang. Layering is the key to keep warm. Hiking boots, hats, gloves, sunscreen, rain jackets, and water purifiers are essential. In Kathmandu, light and comfortable clothes are fine for sightseeing.

Health and Safety:
Health care facilities are good in Kathmandu but basic in Mustang and Manang. Carry a basic first-aid kit, ensure you have medical and travel insurance, and get altitude sickness medication before heading to the mountains. Always drink purified water and eat at clean places.

Local Etiquette and Respect:
Nepali people are friendly and respectful. Respect local traditions and customs. Always take permission before photographing people. In temples and monasteries, take off your footwear and maintain silence.
