You can reach Gangtok via air through the nearest airport, Bagdogra. From Bagdogra, it's a 4 to 5-hour drive to Gangtok. For the other destinations, it's best to take rental cars or cabs. Do note these hilly areas can experience landslides, so speak to a local guide about the best and safest route.
